The Layer Most People Get Wrong Last

You can spend a fortune on finishes, joinery and furniture and still have a room that feels flat, harsh or cheap — and almost always the reason is the lighting. Plan It Before the Walls Close

The single most expensive lighting mistake is leaving it to the electrician on site. Cove and concealed runs, the exact downlight positions, wall-light and pendant points, and the wiring for dimming and control all have to be set before the ceilings and walls are finished.
